Data correlation was based on the time factor – not just radiation, but how long the user wore the earphones in their ears was important. Two types of studies were conducted in rats and humans.

In the first case, an association was found between tumors of the heart, brain, and adrenal glands in rodents exposed to RFR. But human studies have not confirmed such a link.

However, scientists recommend that you do not flatter yourself and observe the time period for wearing wireless headphones, as prolonged use of such devices can trigger brain cancer. It’s not about the complete absence of brain cancer risk for humans, it’s about a lower probability.

Audiologists have warned of the dangers of prolonged use of any type of hearing aid. The reason for this is that the sound source is close to the eardrum, increasing the intensity of the sound. “Over time this leads to hearing loss,” experts say.

In addition, the constant wearing of headphones leads to the emergence and development of microbial and fungal infections, the ingress of pathogens into the ear canal, where they grow in the warm and humid environment of the inner ear.

“Low cancer risk does not mean there is no risk, and it can vary from person to person. How much radiation you are personally exposed to from your wireless devices depends on how long you use them and how close they are to your head,” the researchers warned of the risk of brain cancer.
