The demand for barbecues and grills in April 2023 increased by 47% and 31%, respectively, compared to March this year, according to a study by Avito Rabota, the results of which were reviewed by RB.RU. The need for these specialists was fueled by the proximity of the summer season and the May holidays.
“Avito Rabota” also highlighted the growth in demand for all specialists related to the preparation of barbecues, and for the year. Thus, the number of vacancies for grills tripled in April 2023 compared to April 2022, and 2.5 times more grills began to be sought.
Also in the spring, attendance at public catering establishments traditionally increased; analysts explain this by an increase in orders for barbecue in restaurants and cafes from those visitors who do not have a country house or cottage. Thus, the demand for waiters in April increased by 39% compared to March.
Avito Rabota’s study also showed that more than half (59%) of Russians would like to rest more during the May holidays. At the same time, 33% are willing to reduce the January holidays to rest in May.
