OpenAI said it has resolved issues raised by the auditor, including adding information about how it collects and uses data, and adding a new form for EU users to object to their data being used for education.

The company has also added a tool to check the age of users during registration. OpenAI stated that it is happy to welcome Italian users again and remains committed to protecting their privacy.

The regulator stressed the importance of complying with EU data privacy rules, but also acknowledged the importance of developing AI.

Earlier, it was learned that the man won the lottery thanks to ChatGPT, which collects the winning numbers based on data from previous years’ earnings.
