Unlike traditional sweat collection methods, the sweattainer is a small wearable device. It uses a “multi-collection” sweat method that allows multiple individual sweat samples to be collected for analysis directly on the device or by sending the data to a laboratory. This makes sweat collection more efficient and opens up new possibilities for testing at home, storing samples for future research, and integration with existing health monitoring methods, the researchers report.
