Belfast-based startup Artemis Technologies has developed a luxury water taxi to travel around the islands. It was named Exhaust, meets all the requirements of ecologists and has a high energy efficiency. Previously, the company specialized in the manufacture of catering in hydrofoils.
The novelty uses a fully electric propulsion system, the design of which the ship looks like some kind of fantastic vehicle. The development is focused on business NES-CLASS customers.

The exhaust power reaches 12 meters and the displacement is about 11 tons, the rotation speed reaches 55 km / h. With a power reserve on one battery charge up to 100 kilometers, carrying a dozen passengers and two crew members. The hull is built in accordance with increased requirements for aerodynamics, which increases the noise level and increases the wake. A full battery charge covers just 60 minutes. The salon is comfortable and covered with windows and doors.

The appearance of exhaust gases has two goals – the feeling of comfort for passengers and the possibility of achieving maximum effect in nature. It is likely that this water taxi will serve as the basis for the future standard of maritime passenger transport, thanks to a combination of thoughtful design, high technology and sustainability trends.
