The text also sets out rules for the use of remote biometric identification systems in public spaces, which can only be used in certain situations and with judicial authorization. Instructions for Use still lists AI systems considered high riskstricter usage rules.

The supplier or operator is responsible for the elimination of material, moral, individual or collective damages caused by the systems. Supervision and oversight of the rules will be the responsibility of an authority that has not yet been established. If the law is not followed, companies can face warnings or even a complete ban on the use of AI.
