Google introduced the Pixel 7a smartphone and the Pixel Tablet at the Google I/O conference.
Google Pixel 7a
The body of the smartphone is made of aluminum, glass and plastic.
The Pixel 7a has a 6.1-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. the maximum refresh rate is limited to 90 Hz. The display is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The Pixel 7a is powered by a Tensor G2 processor, equipped with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
A 4386 mAh battery is installed inside the smartphone. The smartphone is protected from water and dust according to the IP67 standard.
The device received a dual camera: increased by 64 megapixels and ultra-wide angle by 13 megapixels. The front camera received a 13 megapixel module with a Face Unlock frequency.
The Pixel 7a runs on Android 13. The company promises “a minimum of 5 years of security updates.”
The smartphone is already available for order in the US at a price of $499 or 38 thousand rubles.
Google Pixel Tablet
The tablet features a 10.95-inch LCD screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The resolution is 2560×1600, the brightness is 500 nits.
The Pixel Tablet has four speakers on each side. On the right side is the USB-C port.
The back case with rounded corners has a nano-ceramic coating. Under the Google logo, there are built-in connectors for attaching to a docking station with a charger and speaker.
The device is powered by a Tensor G2 processor, 8 GB of RAM. There are two memory options to choose from: 128 or 256 GB. There is support for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.
Front and rear cameras are installed at 8 megapixels. They can record 1080p 30 FPS videos.
The Pixel Tablet runs Android 13, which is optimized for tablets.
Pre-orders for the Pixel Tablet are now open in the US. Tablet sales will start on June 20. The 128 GB version costs $499 or 38 thousand rubles, the 256 GB version will cost $599 or 45 thousand rubles.
