This Wednesday (10), Google announced a new visualization mode for Google Maps: Immersive View of Routes. Announced during Google I/O 2023, the innovation offers a detailed view that combines traditional Street View navigation with 3D models.
According to the company, with new developments in artificial intelligence, users will have the opportunity to understand a route in a whole new way. “Immersive View uses computer vision and artificial intelligence to combine billions of Street Views and aerial images to create a rich digital model of the world,” said Google, combining all the information in one place.
