Hotel reservation service MTS Travel has acquired the rights to the technology platform, content and brand of the online industry magazine “Sutilezas del Turismo”. The amount of the transaction is not disclosed.
The purchase does not imply the complete purchase of the legal entity of the publication or an interest in it, as well as the transfer of a media license. The media asset will increase audience access to the company’s ecosystem, Vedomosti learned.
Interlocutors of the publication estimated the purchase at 100-150 million rubles. Additional investments in the technological development of all media services amount to approximately 100 million rubles, the representative of the service noted.
MTS Travel was launched in August 2022. Within two years, the platform plans to enter the top three among hotel reservation services in the market.
