Unlike the large screens commonly found in modern smartphones, the Pixel Fold has a 7.6-inch display when unfolded, but shrinks to just 5.8 inches when folded.
Previous Google Pixel models such as the Pixel 7a, Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro had large screens ranging from 6.1 to 6.7 inches. The visual comparison shows the stark contrast between the Pixel Fold and other devices in the Pixel 7 series.
Also, Google provided an image showing how the Pixel Fold’s internal display compares to other Pixel sizes. Although the comparison is not direct, it clearly shows that the vertical size of the internal display is significantly smaller than its counterparts, and the wide bezels of the internal display are striking.
Especially as the market begins to fill with foldable devices, of which Samsung is one of the pioneers, the sense of hastily made the device haunts. And another year Google wouldn’t quite let it wait.
