(6) On Wednesday, Google announced that it has added a “step-by-step” presentation about the privacy and security-related settings available in Chrome. The innovation has been implemented in several browser options, with a small description of the effects when changed.
In parallel with this, there is another category of presentations in the browser that is displayed from time to time to remind the user of important details, such as when activating the synchronization of addresses accessed between devices used, which will be saved in the Google account.
The Privacy Guide provides information and controls about cookies, history synchronization, safe browsing, and how to improve searches and browsing, according to Google’s statement. The company also said that more features could be added based on user feedback.
The innovation will be rolled out gradually over the coming weeks to those who already have Google Chrome Version 100. When available, the function can be accessed via the following path: “More Options > Settings > Security & Privacy”.
