Online car buying and selling service SberAvto has launched an independent vehicle inspection service for any transactions on the secondary market, a company representative told RB.RU.
Specialists will check the technical condition of the car, the legal purity of the transaction and possible restrictions on the sale.
“Independent inspection” involves consultation, negotiations with the seller, on-site technical and legal inspection of the car, as well as verification of the car’s history. The car is evaluated by 250 parameters, including control in motion.
Experts inspect the body, interior, engine compartment, trunk; measure the thickness of the paint; check the spars and other body elements for traces of repair after an accident; assess working fluid levels; diagnose the engine and gearbox; assess legal cleanliness and verify restrictions.
Previously, the service was available only to users who bought a car through SberAvto.
After the inspection, the client is provided with a report on the technical condition and history of the car, as well as an act with photos and a description. The inspection takes an average of one and a half hours, the service costs 5900 rubles.
The service plans to compete with self-selection specialists already on the market due to “well-trained employees, a standardized report with photos and videos, and proven equipment.”
