Experts from the company Design Bureau 3303 and the Competence Center of the National Technological Initiative “Mobile energy storage devices” at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology have developed a neural network that creates portable artificial intelligence modules for drones.

The architecture of the system developed by Russian researchers consists of two parts, software and hardware. The latter contains several chips on a special substrate. The new approach helped to increase the speed of the complex and reduce its power consumption.

The modules created with the new generation hybrid neural network can analyze the field data in real time. The neural network has begun to be implemented by many industrial customers, including in the areas of autonomous control systems for unmanned vehicles and smart sensors.

According to the developers, neural networks will help increase the use of artificial intelligence in the development of Russian drones. The AI elements it creates are easy to learn, they emphasize.
