As of this Thursday (13), Brazilian consumers can now buy the more powerful new “cheap” Motorola Razr 40 foldable cell phone here.

Unlike the Razr 40 Ultra, the Razr 40 has a smaller external display that also displays information. Both have flip formats, making them compact devices.

The new mobile phone has a 1.47″ screen (194 x 368 pixels) when closed and this format does not have that gap in the middle. It can show notification information and allows you to interact with panels. user can swipe left or right to access weather, calendar details or control music playback .

When powered on, the Razr 40 features a 6.9″ FHD+ pOLED display (2640 x 1080p) with a 144Hz refresh rate. Since this is the same screen as the Ultra model, users can expect good quality video playback.

Another difference between the Razr 40 and the more robust model is its build. The frame of the mobile has a metallic finish and the back is vegan leather which gives it a more textured look. Here it is available in vanilla (cream), sage green (dark green) and purple.

The Razr 40’s datasheet is anything but modest, but it doesn’t reach the top. Still, it has a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor that handles heavier activities like games and multitasking very well. The internal memory is 256 GB, accompanied by 8 GB of RAM. It also has 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC and competent cameras.

Its main sensor has 64 MP resolution and optical image stabilization (OIS), while the secondary sensor has 13 MP and is ultra-wide and macro. It’s even possible to use them for selfies by having a preview on the external display. When the phone is open, the selfie camera has 32 MP and can record videos in 4K resolution.

However, in addition to its lower price compared to the Ultra, the thing that can attract the consumer is the battery. The Razr 40 has a capacity of 4,200 mAh, which should guarantee greater autonomy. It also has a 33W charger and is compatible with wireless charging (5W).

It is worth noting that the mobile comes with Android 13 and a clean interface but with the popular gestures of the brand. This means you can shake the device to turn on the flash, quickly open the camera, and more.
