Apple is building its own AI chatbot similar to ChatGPT. Some engineers already call it “Apple GPT”, According to a report published bloomberg. However, the company does not yet have a clear strategy for introducing the tool among consumers.
Apple GPT uses its own large language model (LLM) called Ajax. According to bloombergwho consulted with sources close to the development, the chatbot runs on Google Cloud and is built with Google JAX, a framework for accelerating machine learning research.
