This Tuesday (31), Asus officially introduced Zenfone 10 in Brazil. With the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, The mobile phone is available in four color options and starts at R$ 5,999.
Zenfone 10 was launched in the global market at the end of June and became available here about four months later. The new feature has the same compact and “small” footprint as the previous Zenfone 9.
While the old product weighed 169 grams, the new product weighs 172 grams. They are also almost identical in terms of dimensions; The Zenfone 9 is 14.6 cm (height) x 6.8 cm (width) x 0.91 cm (thickness), while the Zenfone 10 is 14.6 cm x 6.8 cm x 0.94 cm.
Asus’ oldest and newest mobile phones also have the same screen size: 5.9 inches. What sets the Zenfone 10 apart is its Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. (in games that support the resolution), Full HD +, HDR10 + resolution and brightness up to 1,100 nits are also included in the previous version.
Since Zenfone 10 has better performance, the two versions are farther apart in terms of hardware. In addition to Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, there are versions with Adreno 740 GPU. Up to 512GB storage and 8GB or 16GB RAM, both LPDDR5X.
Zenfone 10 cameras
Zenfone 10 has a module with two cameras on the backwith main 50 MP (f/1.9, 6-axis gimbal OIS and omnidirectional PDAF) and 13 MP ultra-wide (120° angle, f/2.2 + with HDR and LED flash). The 6-axis Hybrid Gimbal 2.0 stabilizer promises to capture blur-free or shaky images.
The front camera has 32 MP and Pixel Binning technology, which is the grouping of pixels that can capture more elements in a photo. The device also features a Quick Capture feature for instant photos by pressing the volume key twice.
Still in terms of cameras, Zenfone 10 records videos at 8K and 24fps4K and 60fps or 1080p and 240fps.
For those who like to record photos and videos, the mobile phone also has a Light Trail mode. It captures the movement of objects and lights, allowing for artistic photographs such as cars in traffic, water flowing through a waterfall, and even a light show.
Zenfone 10 features
Asus Zenfone 10 comes with a fingerprint reader on the side of the device, which allows you to perform actions such as unlocking the screen, scrolling pages, and checking videos on YouTube. The name of the sensor is Zen Touch 2.0.
According to Asus, the differences compared to the Zenfone 9 include the new model’s 12.9% longer battery life. The battery of the device is 4,300 mAh and is compatible with 15 W Qi wireless charging.
