Screen and Design: 120Hz Superiority

The first thing that catches your eye when comparing Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro and Realme 8 Pro is that they are quite large smartphones. Talking about the screen, in both we see a panel with Super AMOLED technology and the same resolution. The only difference is that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro has a 120Hz refresh rate, which is definitely a notable feature.

In terms of design, we are more convinced by the Realme 8 Pro. It is more pleasant to the touch and, thanks to the matte finish, it does not show fingerprint stains like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro due to glass. – like a finish.

Both the smartphones have very similar camera systems in both specs and results.

In both cases, the main sensor has a resolution of 108 MP, which is a rare feature in the mid-range and in both smartphones produces quite satisfactory results with an outstanding level of detail and minimal differences. However, we notice differences in HDR photos, which look more saturated on the Realme Pro 8, although it also manages to resolve high dynamic range situations better.

When it comes to Night mode, we noticed better results in photos taken with the Realme 8 Pro, which look a little more detailed. Likewise, we feel that the Redmi is better at resolving light sources.

As for the rest of the sensors, the only noticeable difference is the Redmi Note 10 Pro’s macro, which, thanks to its 5MP size, provides more detailed results. Selfies look very similar on both phones.

An additional plus of Redmi Note 10 Pro

In terms of battery, both devices measure up, and even if you have resource-intensive use, it’s likely that you’ll get to the end of the day with some battery life. However, the additional 500 mAh of the Redmi Note 10 Pro allows it to take the lead. Perhaps given this limitation, the Realme Pro 8 offers slightly faster charging.

Difficult choice

While the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro and Realme Pro 8 offer very similar features, the superior screen and larger battery are reason enough for us to recommend the Xiaomi variant. However, if you are a regular photographer and don’t know which one to choose, perhaps the Realme 8 Pro will give you a better experience.
