Realme confirmed the first details of its next smartphone series this Thursday (11). The brand announced the news about the Realme 12 Pro mobile phone family, with particular emphasis on the camera set.

The company’s new smartphones, which are the successors of Realme 11, 50 MP Sony IMX890 main sensor and f/1.8 aperture. The component includes an optical image stabilizer and works with an algorithm jointly developed with Qualcomm to improve image processing.

Another highlight of the series is the development of a periscope lens that positions the mirrors of one of the cameras vertically to save internal and external space. Realme models will be among the first models in the mid-range sector to feature this technology, which is currently limited to more elite models.

This is because the Realme 12 Pro+ 5G was created in collaboration with the famous international luxury watch designer Ollivier Saveo, who has worked with brands such as Rolex, Piaget, and Quentin.

The model will feature a gold fluted bezel with the “delicate texture of a luxury watch” as well as the use of dirt-resistant vegan leather. The company had previously released a preview of this version, called the Submarine Blue version.

Realme 12 Pro series will be announced by the company in January and will be available first in India. Realme do Brasil has confirmed that the Pro+ 5G model will be launched in the country “along with the global launch”.
