Microsoft doesn’t want to let go hype for start Apple Vision Pro. Redmond officials announced that their Microsoft 365 apps will be available from day one on Apple’s new space computer.

So, starting this Friday, February 2, buyers of a new Apple device will be able to access classic applications such as Word, Excel or PowerPoint. Teams will also take advantage of the power of Apple Vision Pro for those who want to realize the “dream” of more immersive work meetings.

But Microsoft is not forgetting its full commitment to artificial intelligence. Copilot will also be present in all of its apps for Apple Vision Pro.. As Redmond representatives explained, the virtual assistant, among other functions, will allow you to create text drafts, resumes or slide presentations, as well as research and analyze data.

In the case of Teams, Microsoft has confirmed that when a person is on a call using Vision Pro, will use Apple’s “digital human” feature. This means that others will see a digitized version of the user, as will also happen in FaceTime and Zoom.

Microsoft is bringing its core apps to Apple Vision Pro

A total of 7 Microsoft applications will be available on Apple Vision Pro from day one. In addition to the already mentioned Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams, Outlook, OneNote and Loop will be present.. The latter is a Notion clone that Redmond released a few months ago. All these tools can be downloaded directly from the site headset through the application store.

“At Microsoft, we’re committed to delivering a great Microsoft 365 experience to our customers on their favorite platforms and devices. We’ve worked closely with Apple for years to bring these experiences to iPhone, iPad and Mac. Now with Apple Vision Pro: “These apps leverage infinite spatial computing and can appear side by side at any scale, enabling incredible multitasking,” the company explained.

Judging by the official images, Microsoft has created special versions of its office solutions for Apple Vision Pro. This is an important fact considering that several very popular apps in the Apple ecosystem, such as Netflix, Spotify and YouTube, will not have a native version for the new device. They will also prevent the glasses from working with iPad variants.

The latter is an important point to consider regarding app availability on the Apple Vision Pro. Of course, the space computer will come with Apple apps pre-installed. But it will also bring some stuff out of the box from third parties like Disney+. In the first analysis carried out by the American press, a subfolder was noticed on the main screen that grouped compatible applications.

Those services or platforms that do not have a version specifically designed for Vision Pro will use the iPad variant that Apple has published in its App Store. Even though they are historical competitors, Microsoft did not hesitate to demonstrate its initial commitment to Apple’s new product.. Let’s see how his utilities perform on this device.
