One of the most striking features of the Galaxy S24 is Super HDR, an option that allows you to display HDR photos in detail. Samsung used Android 14 feature to improve the display of content on the mobile phone screen, which means we’ll see more pronounced highlights and shadows. Unfortunately, the manufacturer decided that it would be exclusive to the S24, so we won’t see it in other Galaxy models from previous years.

According to a report from Sammobile, Samsung won’t bring Super HDR to other Galaxy except Galaxy S24. A support forum moderator responded to a user’s question about whether this feature will come to the Galaxy S23, since Samsung usually releases features on older devices after a while. This won’t happen with Super HDR, as the feature is processor and screen dependent.

It’s likely that the tech company will change its mind as the Galaxy S23, as well as the foldable Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5, will have no problem displaying Super HDR images. Samsung offered S23 owners some exclusive Galaxy S24 features and other 2023 models via One UI 6.1. The list includes features such as Surround to Search, which allows you to search Google without switching applications; Generative editing to remove unwanted elements from an image or Live Translate and Chat Assist to translate calls in real time.

Samsung previously confirmed this. Galaxy S24 artificial intelligence features will appear in models no earlier than 2023.. A few months ago, the manufacturer said that it was not sure that this technology would work on older devices.
