Two months after the launch of the Realme flagships, the company presented in Spain three new mid-range phones belonging to this family. We are talking about Realme 12, Realme 12+ and Realme 12xwhich have a new design, improved cameras and a competitive price compared to Xiaomi.
The most powerful model of the new family of smartphones – Realme 12+, which stands out mainly for its appearance. This is a mobile phone with Vegan leather back similar to the one we see in Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+. It also has a huge round photo module in the center, as well as a virtually bezel-less front panel with the camera right on the screen.
Speaking of the screen, the Realme 12+ has one. 6.67 inches. This is a Super AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It also has a brightness of 600 nits with a peak brightness of up to 2000 nits when playing HDR content. All this with a processor Mediatek dimension 7050, which is accompanied by 8 or 12 GB of RAM, as well as 128 or 256 GB of internal memory, respectively. And all this thanks to a 5000 mAh battery and 67 W fast charging.
On the photography side, the Realme 12+ has a 50-megapixel primary camera. This is about Sony LYT600 sensor with optical image stabilizer and f/1.99 aperture. It also includes an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.

Realme 12 and 12X are very similar to each other. They have the same design, as well as the same screen, processor and battery. Their differences, in fact, are mainly in the camera.
Both smartphones have a panel 6.72 inches with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, as well as a brightness of 800 nits with peaks up to 960 nits. The processor on the Realme 12 and 12x is MediaTek’s Dimensity 6100, both with configurations of up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, all with a 5,000mAh battery.
In terms of cameras, Realme 12 has Main sensor 108 megapixels. It is complemented by a 2-megapixel camera with portrait mode. The Realme 12x, on the other hand, includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor and dispenses with the ultra-wide-angle and macro sensor in favor of a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. That is, the smartphone can initially take black and white photographs.
Price and availability of new Realme phones
Realme 12+, 12 and 12x are now available for purchase from major distributors. They all come with an introductory offer that is available from May 14th to May 29th next year. These are prices for different options.
