Honor Magic6 Lite vs Realme 12 Plus: Screen and Design
We think there’s a noticeable difference in the display in favor of the Realme 12+, namely that while it has a slightly lower resolution, its 2,000 nits peak brightness and HDR10+ certification means you’ll not only have better visibility in daylight, but you’ll also get better contrast when streaming your favorite content. On the downside, Realme doesn’t specify the type of screen protection, while the Honor Magic6 Lite boasts the ultra-resistant Honor Shield Glass 2.0.
In terms of design, we think the Realme 12 Plus always looks more premium, and on the back, you’ll find a vegan leather finish that gives it a more luxurious feel. On the other hand, the Honor Magic6 Lite has a full plastic body.
There are other aspects that we feel point to a significant advantage in favor of the Realme 12 Plus, such as the presence of stereo speakers, a 3.5mm jack, and microSD card compatibility.
Honor Magic6 Lite vs Realme 12 Plus: Who Has a Better Camera?

On paper, both smartphones show very similar performance in terms of resolution and the choice of each lens, and the results also seem similar, although we note that in general, the Realme 12 Plus captures more detail, handles light sources better and delivers better white balance.
When it comes to video, we also noticed that the Realme 12 Plus does a better job overall, especially in terms of focus and stabilization. However, we noticed that in some scenes, the Realme renders colors with a strange greenish tint.
Honor Magic6 Lite vs Realme 12 Plus: Performance and Battery Life
As for the performance of each device, although the Honor Magic6 Lite is equipped with a chipset with a more modern architecture, we found very similar results when running the AnTuTu test (518,317 vs. 556,846), which seems quite marginal to us in terms of normal use. In short, you will get the same experience from both phones, even when playing video games.
When it comes to battery, we see a clear advantage in favor of the Honor Magic6 Lite, which has a capacity of 5800 mAh. However, it will be important for you to weigh which feature you value more: a larger battery (Honor) or faster fast charging (Realme).
Honor Magic6 Lite vs Realme 12 Plus: Which is Better?
Overall, we think the Realme 12 Plus is the better option because, apart from a camera that produces better results, you get a more premium design with better features and faster fast charging.
However, if you can get a good deal on the Honor Magic6 Lite, like the one we found on Mercado Libre, it could be an attractive option from a budget perspective.
