Although it was expected on July 29, the truth is that One beta version of UI 7 is about to drop, and with it all the new features aimed at improving the user experience of those who own Samsung devices.

Some of these seem to be revisions of existing features, while others are new. The appearance of the customization layer will be improved with new icons in both system apps and the status bar: the battery icon will change, and the charging animation will also change.

It all comes from host Ice Universe on Weibo, and here’s the full list:

  • New icons for system applications.
  • New background interface.
  • New control area at the bottom of the lock screen.
  • Set shortcut icons to the left and right corners of the lock screen.
  • The shortcut drop-down panel and notification panel can be independent/combined.
  • The notification panel tab in the upper left corner allows you to manage additional applications.
  • Added interruptible animation, optimized animation of opening and closing the application.
  • New battery icon and charging animation bar.
  • New camera interface.
  • Added 5G SMS messages.
  • New animation for opening and closing notifications.
  • Added unlock animation.
  • New animation for pressing buttons and returning to the page.
  • Added a large number of desktop widgets of different sizes.
  • Added more lock screen widgets.
  • Large folders added.
