8. During the installation process, your Mac will restart and display a progress bar or blank screen several times.
9. Once everything is done, the macOS login window will appear.

I don’t see any macOS updates, what’s wrong?

If you don’t see any new software updates for your Mac in the Software Update section, it means: Mac is already updated to the latest version availableSoftware Update only shows software that is compatible with your Mac model.

Additionally, you should know that there are two types of updates on Mac: major updates and minor updates:
