Samsung’s line of cell phones will be significantly improved Galaxy Aas the Korean brand will unveil the new Exynos 1580 chip on October 24th.
The 4nm Exynos 1580 processor consists of one Cortex-A720 core clocked at 2.9 GHz, three Cortex-A720 cores clocked at 2.6 GHz and four small Cortex-A520 cores clocked at 1.95 GHz. This is a significant improvement over the old Exynos 1480 processor, which consists of four Cortex processors. -A78 cores and four Cortex-A55 cores.
It offers an even faster AMD Xclipse 540 GPU. Samsung claims this GPU is 37% faster than the previous generation and 20% faster at the same power consumption level. Samsung says these improvements mainly come from using two so-called workgroup processors instead of one, increasing the GL2 cache, and doubling the amount of FMA/texture unit processing.

Samsung says the chip has an NPU with 6,000 MACS or 14.7 TOPS processing power.
There aren’t many other improvements other than Bluetooth 5.4 and improved noise reduction for photos/videos. Otherwise, the two chips share common features such as a 5G modem with 5.10Gbps downlink speed, Wi-Fi 6E support, 200MP snapshot support, 4K/60fps video capture, and high-speed refresh support 144 Hz at FHD+ resolution. .
Since the Exynos 1480 appeared in the Galaxy A55 5G, it is safe to say that the Exynos 1580 will be launched inside the Galaxy A56.
