Samsung working on a unique feature that will improve the performance of the Galaxy S25. The most recent reports expect that the South Koreans’ next mobile phone will include a unique feature that we only see on PCs and PS5. The goal was to position the Galaxy S25 as a true entertainment alternative.

The report claims that Samsung is working on a gaming mode for the Galaxy S25. This function will use frame scaling and interpolation technology very similar to what NVIDIA video cards offer. To achieve this goal, the mobile phone will use Adreno Frame Motion 2.0, Qualcomm’s own engine included in Snapdragon chips.

An X (Twitter) post by prominent leader Jukanlosreve shows an image of the feature. According to the on-screen description, Game Assistant promises superior gaming performance. This technology is not only capable of doubling the number of frames per secondbut without straining the CPU and GPU to their limits, resulting in greater battery life.

“Create a more enjoyable gaming experience with game assistants.

  • Enjoy the highest quality with less performance thanks to scaling
  • Increasing the resolution allows you to play at frequencies from 60 to 120 Hz.
  • Performance optimization delivers more performance with less heat.”

How does the Samsung Galaxy S25 game assistant work?

Galaxy S25 gaming assistant It would be very similar to NVIDIA’s DLSS.which scales resolution using artificial intelligence algorithms. This feature is becoming a standard in gaming and has found its niche in video playback. Upon activation, users receive better performance with less resource consumption.

The new Galaxy S25 feature will use Adreno Frame Motion 2.0 (AMF 2.0), a Qualcomm technology that doubles the frame rate per second while maintaining the same power consumption. The graphics engine uses advanced frame interpolation techniques to create additional frames between existing frames, similar to frame generation in DLSS 3. This Improves visual smoothness and overall gaming experience.

Adreno Frame Motion 2.0 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which will power the Galaxy S25 when it is officially unveiled in January 2025. Although there is no official confirmation from Samsung, this technology could mark a turning point for Exynos chips. If the South Korean manufacturer decides to try its luck and release two models with different processors, only the Snapdragon 8 Elite variant will offer this feature.
