Nothingthe company that created the Nothing Phone series is announcing some new product, but it is unclear what exactly. The teaser only features one Pokémon: Arcanine, an evolved form of Growlithe and number 59 of the original 150. The company shared the image without any other context, but this is not unusual for them.
Nothing is stranger to cryptic teaser messages. The company teased the Nothing Phone 2a Plus with the same abstract photo and another cryptic post for Nothing, phone 2. Using Pokemon is an odd choice, but it could mean a few things. Interpretations of the message include everything from a release date ending in nine (Arca-nine) or something to do with the Pokédex entry number being 59.

Other rumors link the Arcanine image to previous leaks about a possible codename A059, a model number that appeared in performance tests last year. This suggests that the Nothing Phone 3 will use the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip rather than the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which has become the main choice for flagships. Leaked internal notes indicate a “historic” launch for the smartphone in the first quarter of this year, leading many to suspect that Nothing Phone 3 and 3a will launch in March 2025.
Of course, this could mean absolutely nothing. Nothing more than a telephone company; The company also produces headphones, smartwatches, power adapters, and more. Carl Pei also doesn’t run anything, and Pei is known as a genius when it comes to advertising. It’s entirely possible that this is nothing more than a ploy to build anticipation for Nothing’s next release, whatever that may be (though we expect Nothing Phone 3 at any time).
