HE Facebook experienced instability that prevented use of the web version on the social network this Wednesday (14). Users complained that the platform’s page did not even open in their browsers.

According to Down Detector, the problems started around 8.40am and within minutes the number of complaints exploded. By 9 a.m., more than 4,400 bugs had been reported on the website.

In tests conducted by TecMundo, Facebook didn’t actually open the web version. When trying to access the social network, all that showed was a blank page. The app, on the other hand, appeared to be working normally.

User complaints

As usual, many people took to X (formerly Twitter) to complain about the situation. In addition to posts in Portuguese, a few people also posted about the situation in English, indicating that Facebook’s collapse is happening on a global level.
