Zenfone 9 will be released 28 July. This date is now official with Asus’ confirmation on the device’s website, after the information was leaked in a previously released promotional video.
The release date appears in a new banner on the site that shows the front of the Zenfone 9. In addition to the day, we even have a time: 9 am in New York, that is, 10:00 am Brasília time. So, as expected, we will have a launch event.
The image shows the front of the phone with a nearly bezel-less design, but doesn’t reveal anything else about it. The leak we had earlier says that the device will come with a 5.9” AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Being a high-end device, its processor should be Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and at least one option with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is expected.

The promotional video was previously posted on Asus’ YouTube and was immediately removed, but not before it was recorded by some. For example, it can be seen in the tweet above.
Such leaks are usually confirmed on Android smartphones. We hope that most – possibly all – of the features mentioned are correct, as the history is accurately described.
