iOS 16 has a key to keep your gallery from being cluttered with unnecessary screenshots

The fifth developer beta of iOS 16 came out with a curious and long-awaited new feature: the ability to activate the battery percentage without accessing the control center. However, this is not the only useful feature included in the latest version of the next big update for iPhone. Apple also came up with a really useful way prevent gallery from being flooded with screenshots which we do to send, for example, to a friend or family member.

The new iOS 16 beta notably includes a new option that appears when a person takes a screenshot and clicks the Done button on the edit page, allowing the image to be saved to multiple locations. So far, Apple has offered the option to save the snap in Photos, in a note, in the Files app, or even delete it permanently. However, with the new update also added “Copy and Delete” button.

This new option in iOS 16, as its name suggests, allows you to copy a screenshot to the iPhone’s clipboard so that the user can later paste it into a text field, for example, and share it via iMessages, social networks, or email. . In the meantime, Apple will remove Screenshot so it doesn’t show up in the gallery. So this is a really useful option if you need to share something quickly but don’t want to keep that image.

iOS 16 beta 5 also returns battery percentage

Another great new thing in iOS 16, we repeat, is the ability to activate the battery percentage in the same icon that appears at the top of the screen. Currently in iOS 15, to see a specific battery level, you need to access the control center or check the percentage using various widgets that iOS allows you to include on both the home screen and the side page. However, in iOS 16, it is possible to activate the percentage using an option available in the system settings.

So the user should only have access “Settings” > “Battery” and tap “Battery Percentage”. In the upper area, inside the battery icon, a number will appear corresponding to the current level of autonomy of the iPhone.
