Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro they are just around the corner. Google will officially announce them next October, despite already revealing some key details such as the processor model they will include or their appearance. These are, however, some of the many features that will come with these models.

The company, in particular, announces two versions of the Pixel 7. On the one hand, the flagship; in Google Pixel 7 Pro, which will have more powerful features to compete with the rest of premium smartphones like iPhone 14 Pro or Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. On the other hand, Google Pixel 7, an equally powerful version, but it will include slightly fewer features than its big brother. In this case, the goal is to compete with high-end models such as the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus and offer a slightly lower price for those users who do not want to spend more than 1000 euros.

Interestingly, the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will have many features in common. But what will their screens be like? What are the characteristics of the processor? What resolution will your cameras have? We will consider all these and other points in detail.

Design and display

One of the details we know the most about the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro is their looks, as it was the first thing the company showed off when it confirmed both models during Google I/O 2022. The two terminals in particular are will retain a line similar to that of their predecessorsin which the photographic module on the rear panel and such a combination of colors characteristic of the brand stand out.

The front end has also been recently confirmed by Google and, again, will include minor changes from the previous generation. Screen curvature seems less pronounced, although the panel will not be completely flat. It will also include a selfie camera at the top of the screen.

And speaking of screens; Ross YoungCEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants, tweeted that the base model will be slightly smaller than the Pixel 6. The Google Pixel 7, in particular, It will become 6.3 inches, while the screen of the Google Pixel 7 Pro will remain at 6.7 inches.. On the other hand, the Google Pixel 7 is expected to support Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz screen frequency. The Pixel 7 Pro, on the other hand, will include a QHD+ panel and a 120Hz screen refresh rate.

It will be the new Google Pixel 7 Pro processor.

Tensioner Google Pixel 7

Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are unlikely to have any differences in the performance section since both will use the same processor. This is about Sensor G2, the second generation of its own SoC, developed by Google and produced, presumably, by Samsung. This, yes, will not be much different from last year, judging by the first leaked benchmarks.

In fact, the processor of the chip will be very similar to the first generation Tensor processor. Although the processor will be produced on a 4-nanometer process technology instead of five – eight cores distributed with a configuration of two Cortex-X1, two more Cortex-A76 and the remaining four; The Cortex-A55 will only make a 10% improvement in this section. GPU performance will, yes, improve by 20% as Google bets on the Mali-G7010 instead of the Mali-G78.

In terms of RAM and storage configuration, the Google Pixel 7 is expected to keep the base configuration with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Pro model, on the other hand, may arrive with 12GB RAM and base storage, also 128 GB.

Autonomy and charging

At the moment, Battery capacity of Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro is unknown. However, they are unlikely to be very different from last year’s models. In this case, the base version could have an autonomy of 4,600 mAh, while the Pixel 7 Pro could have 5,000 mAh.

Both terminals will include fast charging as well as wireless charging compatibility. They will not include, yes, any type of charger in the box.

What’s up with your cameras?

google camera

The camera on the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro promises to be just as good – or even better – than their predecessors, although both models will retain the same configuration.

In particular, Google Pixel 7 will have a dual camera. the main sensor will be 50 megapixels, and a secondary sensor; ultra wide angle lens, it will be 12 megapixels. The Pro model will also inherit this configuration, but will bet on a new telephoto lens signed by Samsung: GM1.

Improvements will of course be in processing, which could improve a little, thanks in part to Tensor single-chip system G2. The two terminals are also expected to inherit some of the most important camera features of the Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, such as portrait mode or an option to remove unwanted objects from photos.

Prices for the new Google Pixel 7 and 7 Pro

The Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will cost the same as their predecessors. At least in the United States. Prices for both smartphones have recently been leaked, and they place the base version of the Pixel 7 at $599. Pixel 7 Pro, on the other hand, it will cost $899.

Unless Google changes pricing in Europe, the Pixel 7 will cost €649 in Spain and other Eurozone countries. On the other hand, the Pixel 7 Pro could cost €899. However, it is likely that we will see a small increase due to the parity of the euro against the dollar, as Apple did with its iPhone 14 and MacBook Air.

When will the new Google phones be announced?

Pixel

Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will be officially presented on October 6, which is confirmed by the company itself through various publications in its social profiles. Google, in particular, will hold a presentation to show all the features that are not officially confirmed.
