In 2022, Samsung’s tablet line-up expanded with the introduction of the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, a device that inherited some of the Tab S8 Plus’ most noteworthy features, but with some added features, such as a larger screen or S-Pen compatibility. This year, everything indicates that the South Korean company will continue with the same strategy and launch Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra; model, the main characteristics of which have already been leaked.

Twitter account Ice Universe, which usually reveals up-to-date information about future Samsung products with very high hit rates, claims that Samsung’s next flagship tablet will be the same size as the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. That is, it will retain a length of 208.6 mm, a width of 326.4 mm and only 5.5mm thick. All this with a weight of 737 grams and resistance to water and dust with IP68 certification. The screen of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will also be the same size compared to last year’s model, with 14.6 inches and a resolution of 2960 x 1848 pixels.

The Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will also have 11200mAh battery and 45W fast charging. The great thing about the tablet, yes, is its performance. Samsung will bet on the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 “overclocked”. That is, the SoC will have an even higher clock speed than the standard version of Qualcomm’s SoC, as well as a more “vitamin” GPU to offer overall better performance compared to other devices with the same chip. This is actually what Samsung is already doing with the Galaxy S23. Finally, we know that the tablet will ship with at least 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM.

Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, yes, it’s not the only Samsung product we’ll be seeing soon. The company can also announce two models that are slightly inferior in terms of advantages: Galaxy Tab S9 and Galaxy Tab S9+whose characteristics have not yet been leaked.

In addition to tablets, Samsung may launch in the second half of the year Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5. These foldable devices, in particular, will arrive to update the Z Flip 4 and Z Flip 5 with improved design and a larger outer screen, among other benefits. On the other hand, the company can also launch new versions of their smartwatches.

Unfortunately, at least for now, it is not known when all these products will be officially launched.
