To apply the increase, MCTI will invest BRL 202 million to scholarship holders from CNPq and partner institutions such as Embrapa, INPE, Fiocruz, AEB and others. The resources are part of the budget of CNPq, the National Fund for Scientific and Technological Development (FNDCT), MCTI and partner institutions.

“Technological promotion and innovative publication grants are another tool for knowledge transfer and innovation. The reorganization we announced today reflects our government’s commitment to women researchers in the country and to science as a tool to tackle its most diverse challenges and as a pillar of national development with innovation as a key element of the country’s reindustrialization policy. Recalibration of CNPq grants
