Aqirys has introduced a new gaming mouse, the TGA Alpha. The unique thing about this mouse is that the Romanian brand provides 16 different backs with the input device. Other components are also interchangeable.

The TGA Alpha ships with 16 mouse backs, four front button covers, two USB type-a to type-c cables, two sets of retaining straps, 16 primary button spacers, and two sets of PTFE slides. You can choose from a total of four different colors for the entire top of the wireless mouse: black, white, pink and light blue. The ridges consist of two closed, one perforated and one slot cover. They differ in shape such that a higher, steeper back or a flatter surface can be obtained optionally.

The feel of the TGA Alpha is further customizable, with four grip straps for the primary button covers and the black or white un-perforated sides of the right-handed symmetrical mouse. The feedback from Kailh’s two main buttons is also customizable: the spacers should allow users to balance between a more tactile and smoother setting.

The 65g mouse uses a 19,000dpi PixArt PMW-3370 sensor. Connection via 2.4 GHz radio. The polling rate is 1,000 Hz and the specified response time is 1 ms. Battery life is said to be 44 hours – relatively low. With RGB enabled, this should only be 36 hours. Illumination, general sensor settings and key assignments can be adjusted via the accompanying software. The mouse also has an internal memory.

According to Aqirys, TGA (The Great Annihilator) Alpha is available immediately at a suggested retail price of 89.99 euros without shipping costs. The mouse is currently only sold through the manufacturer’s website.
