New Tesla Model 3 Highland it’s official. After weeks of leaks, rumors and speculation, the American brand revealed it quietly, without any intervening events. Just updated the official website of the company in Europe, which shows all the details of the new version.
Among the main novelties of the new Tesla Model 3 Highland, which coincides with previously published images, we find some new headlights. Both the front and rear have been redesigned to give them a more avant-garde aesthetic, and in the case of the fronts, to aesthetically match the oversized models.
also welcomes new range of colors. Layered pearl white stays free, black gets paid, and blue stays the same from the previous generation. However, a new gray color is now offered – darker than the previous one, and a red called “Ultra Red”.
The new Model 3 Highland also comes with two new tires. The default is the Photon, which measures 18 inches and has been designed for maximum vehicle autonomy. However, you can also pay an extra €1,600 in exchange for a 19-inch Nova.

Only two versions, both with greater autonomy.
On the other hand, the new Tesla Model 3 Highland is available in two versions, at least for now: Standard and Long Range. So this generation option disappears performance which has been proposed so far.
Both versions have taken a significant step forward in terms of autonomy. Depending on the selected tires, the indicators are as follows:
Tesla Model 3 | Tesla Model 3: excellent autonomy | |
---|---|---|
18 inch Foton wheels | 554 | 678 |
19″ Nova wheels | 513 | 629 |
The standard Model 3 of the previous generation, to set the benchmark, is rated for about 490 km with 18-inch wheels. Thus, the improvement is about 60 km. Progress, which is repeated in the Long Range model, approaches 700 km. km is the Tesla with the highest autonomy currently available.

Part of the improvement in autonomy is due to vehicle aerodynamic coefficient improvement, which changed from 0.225 to 0.219. The use of new batteries could also play a role, which has been pointed out repeatedly in the weeks leading up to this launch, but which Tesla has not yet disclosed.
What the brand has confirmed is the maximum charging speed of both models, which remains unchanged from the previous generation. That is: the standard Tesla Model 3 will have a maximum output of 170 kW, while the Great Autonomy version will be able to reach 250 kW.

Tesla Model 3 Highland: interior changes
Inside the new Tesla Model 3 Highland, we also find many changes. The first of these is disappearance of shift levers and indicatorswhich are now integrated into the steering wheel and the main screen, as in the Model S and Model X. Of course: in this case, this is not just a Yoke steering wheel, but a round one.
Behind, Tesla is now equipped with an 8-inch screen which allows passengers to be entertained by giving them control over the ventilation system. The same thing we see in the current Model X and Model S.
On the other hand, the brand has implemented customizable ambient lighting system, which will be especially useful when driving at night. The cabin has also become quieter thanks to various aerodynamic and structural improvements, 3 more elements have appeared in the acoustic system, the front seats are now ventilated, and the trunk is increased in size, reaching 594 liters.
