Several product lines from leading chip manufacturers are planned for the coming months. In addition to new processors from Intel and AMD, Nvidia’s Lovelace graphics cards are expected to launch before the end of 2022. The first RDNA 3 GPUs will also be introduced in the fall, but a specific release time is unknown so far.

According to Twitterer Greymon55, the team is looking to launch the first red RX 7000 models between late October and mid-November. It is not entirely clear which sku will be discussed, according to Moore’s Law is Dead Navi 33 GPU will be announced first. In addition, the flagship Navi 31 is expected to appear in the fourth quarter of 2022, and the Navi 32 in the first half of 2023.

A solid performance boost is expected alongside higher power consumption, as is the case with Nvidia’s RTX 4000 series. At last week’s Financial Analyst Day, AMD confirmed that RDNA 3 will (partially) use chiplets, and also that this generation should deliver at least 50% higher performance per watt.
