New electric scooter company bo Mobility has unveiled its first and ambitious Tesla-inspired electric scooter designed by former Formula 1 engineers. As you can see, it’s electric vehicle week.

Although this is the company’s first experience in the electric scooter sector, equipped with innovative technologies, starting with a rigid curved chassis and steering technology.which can make it one of the best on the market.

Our automotive history. Williams Formula 1, cutting edge technology and Jaguar-Land Rover for design. We started with a revolutionary and unique chassis architecture that we call Monocurve.“explains Oscar Morgan, CEO and co-founder of bo Mobility.

There’s a handy space at the bottom of the Monocurve’s chassis that works with a “lock and load” hook that can be removed from the frame, allowing you to carry groceries without swaying.

The team also pioneered about Safesteer technology, a new “safety paradigm” that they say reduces wheel size. (10″ only, 2.75″ wide) and offers all the comfort and safety of cycling traditional.

The steel loop allows you to securely attach the scooter to any bike lock. Something that is of vital importance, although it has anti-theft GPS technology.

As for specifications, the scooter has a range of 50 km and a potential top speed of 56 km/h.although each country’s local restrictions will apply.

The whole set weighs 18 kg.comparatively quite light thanks to the space-grade aluminum chassis. In the UK the scooter costs £1995. (at the moment they do not give conversion to euro), or £69 per month if you pay monthly. Deliveries will begin in June 2023.

And while pricing is not yet available for the US or Australia, the company confirmed to TechRadar that there are plans to launch the scooter internationally.

However, we can find a couple of problems: Although on the one hand the Monocurve chassis looks very good, it can’t be folded, so it won’t be easy to transport. For many people, the inability to fold it is a complete hurdle.

And the second problem is the price, even if they did a 1:1 pound to euro conversion, we would buy an electric scooter for about 2000 euros. In Spain, this is the same price as many small combustion motorcycles or high-end electric bikes.
