Skoda revealed the main characteristics Elroka new 100% electric compact SUV. The new car from the brand owned by Volkswagen Group will have a very attractive design and more than enough features to use it both in the city and beyond.
Skoda Elroq will be available in four modelsthe main differences of which will be in the battery capacity and the power of the motors. The interesting thing about this model is that it is not only the automaker’s first fully electric compact SUV, but also the first to use the Modern Solid design language.
But beyond the appearance of this car, the most interesting thing is its technical specifications table. As we have already mentioned, Skoda Elroq will be offered in four variants: 50, 60, 85 and 85x.
All will be equipped with lithium-ion batteries with a usable capacity of 52 kWh in the 50 version, 59 kWh in the 60 version and 77 kWh in the 85 and 85x versions. As for motorization, only the Skoda Elroq 85x will be offered with all-wheel drive, with a motor on each axle. The rest will be produced only with rear-wheel drive.
If we focus on power, then the Skoda Elroq 50 and 60 engines will provide power 125 and 150 kWrespectively, offering a top speed of 160 kilometers per hour. The 85 model will have 210 kWwhile 85x will provide the overall maximum power 220 kW between its two engines.

Skoda Elroq: energy boost and autonomy


All four variants of the Skoda Elroq can charge the battery using direct current (DC). although only versions 85 and 85x support fast charging up to 175 kW. Anyway, the automaker indicated that all models of its new compact SUV can be recharged from 10 to 80% in about 28 minutes. If you charge the car at an AC station, refilling the battery may take between 5.5 and 8 hours, depending on the version of the car.
The autonomy of the new Skoda Elroq is more than interesting. By car make can reach 560 kilometers on the WLTP cycle. However, it is important to note that this scope is compatible with the 85 and 85x models. The brand did not indicate the autonomy corresponding to the Skoda Elroq 50 and 60.
