There is no worse surprise than having to take our car and check that it has been in the sun for several hours, which makes it almost impossible for us to get inside because the temperature can even be around 40°C.
While the first option a user might think of is to turn the air conditioner up to maximum, this is not recommended when the inside temperature is that high.
Fortunately, there is a so-called Japanese method by which we can significantly reduce the temperature inside the car without resorting directly to air conditioning.
The trick is very simple: you have to roll down the passenger side window while the door remains closed, and on the other hand continuously open and close the driver’s door about five times while your window is up.
with this technique the flow of fresh air that we cause by opening and closing the car door will be exchanged with the accumulated hot air which will come out of the passenger window, which we lowered.
Thanks to this, we will be able to lower the temperature in the car interior by a few degrees, and now it would be advisable to enter the car interior and turn on the air conditioner.
Regarding air conditioning, DGT also wants to give you some advice.
One of them is that leave the recirculation option in automatic mode so that the air is self-regulating and distributed more evenly.
On the other hand diffusers should always point upwards and not in people’s faces, since upwards will be much more pleasant for the temperature of the car’s interior, since it will be distributed evenly.
