Elon Musk has a dream: to be the first to land humans on Mars. He does not intend to take them personally, but rather that his company – SpaceX – for the first time delivered people to the nearest planet in the solar system.

Since the moon seems light since we already arrived about five decades ago, since there is a NASA mission that is responsible for bringing it back to establish a permanent base on our satellite (the mission is called Artemis, and here you have all the information), the challenge is Mars.

For this, a ship called Starship and several engines called Raptors are being manufactured and tested. Combining the two should result in a spacecraft advanced and powerful enough to carry humans millions of miles into space.

The problem with this ship, as you can see in the tweet above these words, is that it has so much power and fuel that explosions are very likely. Unfortunately for the company and the ozone layer (imagine the emissions from such an explosion)

The event took place at the SpaceX facilities in Boca Chica, Texas.and may delay its plans for the first orbital flight of a rocket that was about to be launched into space to begin testing.

SpaceX has made significant progress in developing its Starship, a deep space vehicle. which forms the basis of CEO Elon Musk’s plans for a human settlement on Mars.

Here’s how astronauts will travel on SpaceX’s Falcon 9

Last year, after a series of unsuccessful and explosive attempts, the company finally made a suborbital flight of the prototype upper stage starship and landed safely at the end of the flight. Musk said he hopes to make an orbital flight this July.

In today’s tests, the Super Heavy version was used.a giant first-stage booster designed to launch a starship into orbit. with a total of 33 Raptor engines. The launch of these engines on the Boca Chica platform caused the explosion.

Fortunately for the space race, this is just an accident from which valuable lessons can be learned. The conquest of the stars is getting closer.
