Kindles are undoubtedly the best-selling e-readers, so much so that they are slowly cornering competition from other brands, in part because they tend to be fairly low priced when they go on sale, as they are now. is the case with almost all of their models, including Kindle Paper White.

This model with a backlit screen and very light weight is one of Amazon’s crown jewels, although it should be noted that due to price cuts it is now “only” 120 euros, while MediaMarkt is selling it for 110 euros.

Curiously, MediaMarkt is doing well in this price war for Amazon Kindle Paper White surpass the brand’s official store and that is that it is an Amazon device from its catalog, which is, however, cheaper through a third party, at least for the moment.

Buy it at the best price

It’s true that there have been many changes to the Kindle catalog in recent months, with three new devices already on sale. One of them, the most recent, is Kindle Scribe, the first that allows you to write with a pencil on the screen.

On the other hand, there’s an update to the base Kindle, which is already making the leap to the much-requested and long-awaited USB C for both battery charging and data transfer, leaving microUSB behind for the first time.

And thirdly, there’s the new Kindle Paperwhite, a Signature model that, in addition to having a better screen, has wireless charging, a novelty that, however, makes its price quite high compared to the standard Kindle Paperwhite.

Kindle Paperwhite on sale: still one of the best e-book readers

Why buy a Paperwhite when your basic Kindle already has USB C? There are some features that make it stand out, starting with battery life, which is somewhat longer, or weight, which is less.

However, for avid readers (especially night readers), the difference lies in the warm light screen option, which is much better for reading in the dark.

All of this makes for a good opportunity if you’re thinking about buying an e-reader, as the 2021 Amazon Kindle Paperwhite offer not only lowers it (like MediaMarkt’s) but also offers free shipping.
