THE firefighters they received valuable help from drones. A new project involves the use of sensors which can be carried by firefighters along with drones to determine their position. A method to increase their safety around burning buildings and help them in their work.

With RTK-enabled drones, firefighters have essential information about: to burn live. The areas where the most heat is released are immediately identified. George Mason University researchers came up with this new one system. The combined system of drones and sensors allows firefighters to be guided remotely to the safest route to management fromfirework. The firefighter can then warn the rest of the team and be assisted in the rescue. From 2025, this new equipment can be tested and become available in the short term.

The safety of firefighters has thus increased thanks to this new technology. The project is called 5G Indoor Positioning System, a way to validate the safety of firefighters. Drones are therefore once again entering the scene in another sector, that of public safety. Moreover, also to save the lives of people in extremely dangerous situations.
