George Mason University researchers came up with this new one system. The combined system of drones and sensors allows firefighters to be guided remotely to the safest route to management fromfirework. The firefighter can then warn the rest of the team and be assisted in the rescue. From 2025, this new equipment can be tested and become available in the short term.
The safety of firefighters has thus increased thanks to this new technology. The project is called 5G Indoor Positioning System, a way to validate the safety of firefighters.
