NASA SLS launch is more exciting in slow motion

On November 16, 2022, the world was closely watching NASA’s SLS launch. While it was an impressive and immersive experience at the time, NASA managed to improve upon it by showing it in slow motion as well. After a long wait, the 2,721-ton rocket quickly took off from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. He managed to bring the Orion spacecraft to the moon. the destination you arrived at and where it performs planned maneuvers.

SLS is known as the largest and heaviest rocket in history. As for what we see in the photos, the ship is engulfed in a large cloud of its own creation. Among the elements that make up this cloud, we have aluminum dust (fuel), mineral perchloric acid (oxidizer), and polybutadiene acrylonitrile, also known as PBAN (binder). All of this is combined with “water vapor and nitrogen gas, as well as a lot of energy,” says NASA.
