As the release date of the refreshed RDNA 2 GPUs approaches, Videocardz has seized on the suggested retail prices of the new Radeon RX 6050 cards. According to an internal slide from AMD, the RX 6950 XT, RX 6750 XT, and RX 6650 XT will launch on May 10 with a higher MSRP than their counterparts.

The higher the segment, the bigger the price difference: the RX 6950 XT is expected to cost $1,099, or $100 more than the current RX 6900 XT. The 6750 XT has a suggested retail price of $549, an increase of $70 over its younger sibling. Later, the RX 6650 XT would change hands again at $399, two dollars more than the RX 6600 XT.

AMD itself would only sell reference designs of the two highest segmented SKUs.

To justify this extra cost, Team Red has reportedly increased the clock and memory speeds of the new models, as well as power consumption. In anticipation of the alleged review embargo next Tuesday, some 3DMark scores have already surfaced, suggesting that the RX 6950 XT and 6750 XT in particular should outperform their predecessors significantly.
