Intel has released the new NUC Enterprise Edge Compute. The device was developed with Scale Computing and is essentially a microserver. This new server is designed to serve as a server, for example, in a store or branch office of larger companies. One of the companies that will use these servers is the supermarket chain Ahold Delhaize.

These devices offer the possibility of use in a cluster where tasks are immediately taken over by someone else should one NUC fail. It is also possible to pre-configure these devices.

The basis of the new NUC is the NUC 11 Pro and can be supplied with an eleventh generation Core i5 or i7. These NUCs include two 2.5 gigabit network ports based on Intel i225V chip.CPU options:
