Although it’s only a few months to Nothing phone, you can experience the operating system with the beta version of Nothing Launcher on Google Play Store. Nothing announced a new update for its launcher on Monday. This update expands the Nothing Launcher beta to more users with expanded support for all Android phones running Android 11 or higher. A “How to Install” page is also provided to guide you through the features when using the launcher for the first time.

The teaser of OnePlus founder Carl Pei’s brainchild promised a pretty bare-bones near-stock Android experience last March, but the OS has since expanded further. For example, after completing the setup, you will immediately see a Nothing widget for weather information, as well as custom digital and analog clock widgets. The default icon pack of nothing also appears everywhere.

The launcher also lets you make app icons and folders bigger, while the overarching UI theme naturally features Nothing’s signature retro dots and a combination of red, white, and black colors. Suggestions for improvement can be submitted by providing your phone model and OS version along with screenshots or logs and posting them via Nothing’s Discord server.

For those who have already downloaded the Nothing Launcher, there is now a new popup that will allow you to easily switch to the None wallpaper. If you don’t like the default wallpaper, the launcher provides access to a Dropbox folder with additional wallpapers and ringtones for download. To do this, press and hold the home screen to open the launcher settings and go to Wallpaper & Style > Bonus content.

The new update can be found on the Play Store here.
