executive director Aim (Parent company of Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger) Mark Zuckerberg announced new functionality for Threads this Wednesday to retain users of this social network.after a huge download success in its early days it is now fading.
Among the new functions are the possibility to share a post from Threads to Instagram direct messages, add a description to posted photos or videos, and a new “mention button” this allows “to mention other accounts easily”.
This isn’t the first change he’s made. ThreadA social network that emerged as a competitor in early July twitter (now called X).
on 25 July Thread making its first change, it started to offer the option of viewing the content of the accounts that users follow in chronological order, just like Twitter.
Last week, Zuckerberg announced that the platform’s “soon” will have a search function and will be accessible on the web.

The biggest difference between the two networks is that although Threads still doesn’t have direct messages and you can’t use hashtags or tags, so there are no trending topics or trends.
