Froilanis Rivas, a 34-year-old Venezuelan woman, died on Tuesday, November 14. After lightning struck a beach in Cartagena.

According to Álvaro Cruz, director of the Emergency and Emergency Regulation Center (Crue) in Cartagena, Rivas was taken to a medical center shortly after being discharged.

“The woman was transported by AMI ambulance from Playa Azul Boquilla to Serena del Mar Hospital and admitted to the cardiorespiratory emergency.”Cruz said in a video report.

According to the Crue director, “Doctors tried to resuscitate him for 45 minutes but were later declared dead.”.

Now, while the incident continues to be discussed in Cartagena, Rivas’ family is requesting urgent help.
