Colombia representative, Camila Avella, She was classified in the group of five finalists for Miss Universe 2023, which took place in El Salvador on Saturday, November 18. One of the jury members asked the Colombian beauty: If it was your last day on this planet, How would you experience this?
Avella’s response was: “I’m going through this because being here, showing that women are strong and brave, breaking stereotypes, being a mother and a woman, “I want to leave a story and leave a legacy and pass it on to many children, many women and mothers.”
Avella was not among the three finalists, but she made history as she was one of the first two participating mothers in this competition and became a semi-finalist.

The three finalists were representatives of Australia, Thailand and Nicaragua. Miss Universe is Nicaragua, viceroy is Thailand and second princess is Australia.
