Notes, which Instagram introduced in late January, allows users to share text messages with their followers or friends using text and emoji.

Currently, these notes sit at the top of your inbox and disappear after 24 hours, replaced by new posts. There is no notification that it has been published and replies arrive in the inbox as a direct message.

Instagram is in the process of developing a wall where these notes will be displayed as a collage. As developer Alessandro Paluzzi explains on his X profile (ex-Twitter). This wall will be accessible from the user’s profile.

The 60-character limit on the wall will continue, allowing users to post multiple notes at once and pin some of them. Followers and friends will also have the opportunity to respond to notes and express their approval by saying they liked them.

One of the most notable updates to WhatsApp this year was video messages to communicate in a different way. Call links allow any user with the link to join your meeting, whether they have it in their contacts or not.

Other changes have also been made, such as the option edit texts sent to a contact. However, this change must be made 15 minutes before the arrival date. After this estimated time, the user cannot change the text.

Now, this option, which many WhatsApp consumers have been waiting for a long time, has been moved to Instagram, one of the most used social networks by young people and also a part of Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta applications.
